Quick Chicken Biryani: Ingredient:- Rice- 1 /2 kg, Chicken- 1/2 kg,Onion- 400g,curd- 1/2 cup (100 ml),ghee-1 tbsp,Salt-as per taste,lemon juice of 1 lemon,reﬁned oil -1/2 cup ,Coriander and Mint leaves 1/2 cup each. For Masala: Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp( 5 g), Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp.Big cumin seeds-1/4 tsp,cloves,cardamom,pepper- 6 each. For paste: Green Chilli- 4 ,Garlic-1 pod ,Ginger -2 pieces,Cashew nuts-10 Nos,Raisin-10 Nos.
Method of preparation:
1. In a pressure cooker ( without lid) saute onion in oil until brown, saute ground paste, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Then add powdered masala and saute well
2. Add chicken pieces,650 ml of water, curd, lemon juice, ghee and cook until raw smell goes.
3. Once the pressure settles add drained rice (after 15 minutes soaking) and cook for 1 whistle.
4. lower the ﬂame and cook for another 3 minutes. 5.Garnish with nuts, raisins and coriander leaves
