Description

Samba wheat puttu podi is made from good quality selected samba wheat. Processed with GMP standards. Wheat is able to provide you with an immense energy source due in all parts of the grain kernel, including the bran, germ, and endosperm. Only needs 3-5 minutes for steaming. Can be served with plantain or curry or chutney or with sugar. Can be used as breakfast item.

Recipe

Samba Wheat Puttu

Wet Double horse Samba Wheat Puttupodi with required quantity of luke warm water and salt. Mix well to obtain desired consistency. Leave aside for five to ten minutes. Transfer the mix in to puttu maker with coconut gratings alternately. Place the maker on a pressure  cooker/steaming vessel and steam for 3 to 5 minutes. Push out the cakes from the maker to a plate and serve with plantain or curry or chutney or with sugar.
