Chemba Puttu

Ingredients

  • Water – As required
  • Salt – To taste
  • Grated Coconut – 2 Cup
  • Double Horse Chemba Puttu Podi – 500g
Sprinkle Double Horse Chemba Puttu Podi with the required quantity of water and salt. Mix for 5 minutes to obtain desired consistency (if softer puttu is desired, keep it aside for 30 minutes). Transfer the mix into puttu maker with coconut gratings alternately. Place the maker on a pressure cooker/steaming vessel and steam for 3 to 5 minutes. Push out the cakes from the maker to a plate and serve with plantain or curry or chutney or with sugar.
