Beef Koorkka Roast
Ingredients
- Beef – ¼ kg
- DH Chinese Potato (koorkka) – 1 packet
- DH Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
- DH Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- DH Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- DH Pepper Powder – 1½ tsp
- DH Meat Masala – 1 tsp
- Onions – 1 (sliced)
- Green chillies – 3 (split lengthwise)
- Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
- Coconut oil – 3 tbsp
Cook the beef with salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder. Heat a thick bottomed pan. Add onions, salt, ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Sauté well. Add the dry masala powders, mix well and add the cooked beef. Add ½ cup water and simmer for a few minutes. Add the Chinese potato and cook on low flame till the masala becomes dry and coats the pieces.
