Chemeen Koorkka Ularthu

Ingredients

  • Prawns – ½ kg (deveined)
  • DH Chinese Potato (koorkka) – 1 packet
  • DH Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
  • Garlic – 6 cloves (chopped)
  • Crushed dry red chilli – 3 tbsp
  • Coconut oil – 3 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
  • Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
  • Coconut chunks – ¼ cup (optional)
Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan. Splutter mustard seeds, add curry leaves, garlic and red chillies. Fry for a few seconds and add the prawns, turmeric powder and salt. Sauté well. Add the Chinese potato and fry well. Serve hot with rice.
