Ginger Garlic Chicken


  • Chicken pieces – ½ kg
  • Onion – 2 sliced
  • Chopped ginger – 1½ tsp
  • Chopped garlic – 1½ tsp
  • DH Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  • DH Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
  • DH Chilli Powder – 1½ tsp
  • DH Garam Masala Powder – ½ tbsp
  • DH White Vinegar – 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves – 1 sprig
  • Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
Heat oil in a pan. Add the onion slices and half of the fresh ginger and garlic. Sauté well. Add the ginger-garlic paste, dry masala powders, vinegar, salt and coriander leaves. Add the chicken pieces, reduce the flame and sauté till the chicken starts cooking in its juices. Pour in half a cup of water, mix well, add the rest of the chopped ginger and garlic. Close with a lid and cook till the gravy thickens.
